Shenzhen Jiakeyuan Industrial Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Jiakeyuan"), a technological leader in China’s power adapter manufacturing industry, today officially unveiled its "JHY-300G" Gallium Nitride (GaN) Fast Charging Adapter. With a massive 300W power output and a compact size comparable to a smartphone, this product has sparked widespread industry attention on the "lightweight revolution" in high-power charging.
According to Jiakeyuan’s Chief Technology Officer, the "JHY-300G" is equipped with a next-generation GaN (Gallium Nitride) power chip. Through optimized circuit topology and thermal design, it achieves a conversion efficiency of 96.5% (far exceeding the industry average of 92%) while reducing its volume to just one-third of traditional 300W silicon-based adapters (measuring only 120mm × 60mm × 35mm). The product supports the USB PD 3.1 protocol (compatible with up to 240W) and Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 (QC 5), offering a flexible "single charger for multiple devices" solution for high-power gadgets such as gaming laptops, 4K monitors, and professional photography equipment.
"Traditional 300W adapters are often bulky (weighing over 3kg) and generate significant heat, but the 'JHY-300G' leverages GaN’s high-voltage resistance to completely resolve the industry pain point of 'high power = large size + high heat,'" said Li Hua, General Manager of Jiakeyuan. "This product has passed international certifications including UL 62368 (North America), CE (Europe), and ERP (EU Energy Efficiency), with the first batch of orders already delivered to North American gaming laptop brands and domestic high-end display manufacturers."
